ndp 2005 is coming up within 9 days and i'm really excited about the fireworks that are going to be lit during the week... cant wait for the singapore fireworks festival to start...

the singapore fireworks festival is in its second year and vows to bring more exciting displays of colours and shapes to light up the whole national day celebrations... 6 aug (19.30), 8 aug(00.00), 9 aug (20.00) and 14 aug (20.00) are the showtimes for the fireworks festival... i do hope that i can find to get there, but maybe i can't go for the 6 aug coz it's a saturday and i have my violin lesson on that day... ;( nevertheless, probably i might get someone to help me take photos on the fireworks... probably i will upload the photos on my photo blog by 16 aug... do check back soon...

t3w5 is coming soon... soon, there will be tons of tests... still have to prepare for symphonia 2005 hciso concert on 8 august at esplanade recital studio (anybody who wants the tickets, inform me coz only 200+ tickets available and should be running out quite fast)... still have to prepare for my grade 8 violin exam on 16 august... i think i really need a psychiatrist to help me cope with all these stressful stress...

probably may not be able to blog that often (again!...) do hope that i have the time to at least blog once a week... hope that time allows me so...

绝对 superstar has come to semis... 石欣卉 shouldn't be in!!! her rendition of 《revolution》by f.i.r. sux, the judges' gave her the lowest score, and she still got in?! at least kelly and derrick got in, they deserve their place in the semis... junyang also not bad, his voice damn nice... my predictions for the grand final: junyang vs kelly! it's going to be a great competition between the two of them... really looking forward to the grand final in 1 september 2005... 绝对网站

another 8 more days before my blog turns 1 year old... (happy birthday, blog)

yet nothing much changes... the fact that life still sux...

the worse is that when today is racial harmony day and yr whole level gets to stay in school and continue with lessons while the other levels get chance to step out that dreaded place and understand other races (or rather slack around for one whole day...) in luck if they complained about slacking around and doing nothing... (and it did really happen...)

having lessons during racial harmony day... this feeling is quite unusual... especially when u have yr dearest consortium head getting confused through numerous lesson swaps within one day... luckily the small tremor did not really trigger a 9.0-magnitude earthquake, or else be ready to get assistance from nothing...

national track and field... too bad i'm not there and i'm glad that i'm not there... cck stadium, so far away... too lazy to even get there... good news coz c and b division got champs, bad news coz a division boys and girls did not manage to get there...

another 3 more weeks to NDP 2005... been trying to get the tickets through contests held by the press and media... still no good news... if that's really the case, then i will just have to go to my godmother's house at the 20th storey to get an undisrupted view of the fireworks display...

today's (18 july) chinese test was quite ok, just except for some of the 造句 i don't really have much confidence on... during the test, it was raining very heavily outside and thunder was present... i was sitting right next to the air conditioner wire and i was so afraid that i would be electrified by the metal casing of the wire...... luckily nothing happened, and i was lucky that i wasn't electrified...

tmr (19 july) going to have in-conversation... english teacher confronted the class for almost 2 periods (approx. 1 hr) for not being prepared for the presentation of the educaiton research module... i do hope that this would be the last of such incidents, though i cannot guarantee that none of this sort will happen again in the future, whether be it a month or several years...

time will justify for itself...

many things happening during the past week... what i mean by "many" is really many! the most talking of the talk-of-the-town, (or rather the talk-of-the-island), is undisputely the nkf saga... looking back at things, i think that i did the right thing by not donating too much to the nkf (for those who don't know, nkf = national kidney foundation), coz the donations just goes straight to the german toilet bowl and golden tap in the ceo's washroom... got my mom to be part of the 43,000+ people in the online petition for the ceo (now outgoing ceo) tt durai, and i think it really worked... thank goodness the government intervened and got everything in place without affecting the treatment of the kidney patients... in this incident, i think the kidney patients have suffered a lot, not only the minimal subsidies given by nkf during durai's time, also the public's lost confidence in the nkf have affected the kidney patients a lot as money is needed for their dialysis treatment... though i must admit that the 10,000+ people who have withdrawn their monthly donations have their own reasons for doing so (probably because of the huge sum of money in the nkf's reserves)... well, at least now there is no need for the nkf cancer fund and i think singaporeans will have one less burden for donating during the television charity shows...

enough of this, i think i need to set up a "bkf" (baohe, kua fund)... currently living in a 3-room flat and needs urgent financial support... urgent need for donor to donate a SGH-E330C phone (pic below) for me to use... to donate $5.80, pls call 1900-112-4444... for 3 calls, pls call 1900-112-4443 JUST KIDDING...

this phone (SGH-E330C) is really nice, got vga camera with flash and 5x digital zoom, voice clarity to listen to phone calls clearly in noisy places... dunno how much it really costs, but i suppose it should be around $350 or what... i need to conduct a market research on this phone...

this coming week is going to be hell for me, (well at least every week is hell to me...) chinese test tmr, or rather today coz it's already monday... just started studying, and then still need to complete maths homework which i presume many ppl would be copying... nvm about those homework, coz there are much more things than that... wish me luck for today's chinese test...

i'm in the midst of completing my mrp (major research paper, for some who dont know)... writing this post in the middle of doing my humanities "exam".... i dont know what the hell i'm thinking of... trying to edit some of teh info inside, but cant think of a way of changing... well, i just hope that those who are also in the mrp madness, good luck on your paper, and god bless your paper that it would not be shredded into many pieces by your mentor...

the first 2 weeks of the new term sux... it's just that there are still that much homework, though the teachers always confess that they give minimal homework... probably they should figure what is 10+10+10+10+10 coz i suppose that's how our homework add up to... the mrp deadline is approaching this monday and projects day on friday... it's fortunate enough for me to even survive until today...

it was total chaos already on the first week, coz i had many events going on... first up, bio test on that friday... second, rehearsal for school cluster performance at nygh which lasted until about 4:30 on that wednesday... third, actual school cluster performance lasting from 3 to 5:30... fourth, normal string orch practice on tuesday and friday... fifthly, school biannual syf performance in the drama centre in school at night... just got news about my bio test, around b4, and i think it's already good enough given the remaining time left for my revision work (excluding school times, meal times, sleep times and all the times listed above...) luckily the physics test which was supposed to be that week was postponed to week 2, that is last week, or else......

may not be able to blog very often, as seen from the current situation of my blog... maybe once a month should be quite good already... sigh... ;(
